These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases, services, quotations, installations, maintenance work, repairs, and online transactions conducted with AirCon Specialist.

By using our website, purchasing products, requesting quotations, or making use of our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you should not use our website or services.

AirCon Specialist reserves the right to correct any pricing, image, or description errors without obligation to honour incorrect listings.

4. Quotations and Orders

  • All quotations are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Orders are only confirmed once payment has been received and cleared.
  • AirCon Specialist reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its discretion.
  • Custom or special-order items may require a deposit before procurement.

5. Pricing and Availability

  • All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR).
  • Prices may change without prior notice.
  • Promotions and specials are subject to stock availability.

Installation pricing may vary depending on:

  • Property type
  • Distance
  • Electrical requirements
  • Bracket requirements
  • Piping and trunking length
  • Access difficulty

Additional work outside the standard installation scope will be quoted separately.

6. Payments

We accept payment via:

  • EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
  • Debit/Credit Card
  • Approved online payment gateways
  • Cash payments where applicable

Orders and installations will only proceed once payment reflects in our bank account. For EFT payments, clearance may take up to 3 business days.

7. Delivery and Collection

  • Deliveries are available within South Africa.
  • Delivery fees may apply depending on location and order size.
  • Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.
  • Customers must ensure that delivery details are accurate.

AirCon Specialist is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier companies
  • Weather conditions
  • Load shedding
  • Supplier delays
  • Unforeseen operational issues

Risk in products passes to the customer upon delivery or collection. Customers must inspect all goods upon receipt and report any shortages or damages within 24 hours.

8. Installations

Standard Installation Includes:

  • Indoor and outdoor unit mounting
  • Basic piping and electrical connections
  • Standard wall brackets
  • Basic testing and commissioning

Standard Installation Excludes:

  • Electrical DB upgrades
  • Core drilling through reinforced concrete
  • Scaffolding
  • Long-distance piping
  • Ceiling repairs
  • Painting or building alterations

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • Safe access to the property
  • Necessary permissions from landlords/body corporates
  • Suitable electrical supply

AirCon Specialist reserves the right to stop or refuse installation work if conditions are unsafe.

9. Warranty

All products are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions. Warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation by third parties
  • Power surges or lightning damage
  • Misuse or negligence
  • Lack of servicing or maintenance
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Acts of nature

Labour warranties on installations are limited and will be communicated at the time of installation.

10. Returns and Refunds

Products may be returned within 7 days provided that:

  • The product is unused
  • It is in original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is provided
  • The item is in resellable condition

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Installed units
  • Custom ordered products
  • Damaged products caused by misuse
  • Products damaged by power surges or lightning
  • Clearance or special-order items

Approved refunds may take 7–14 business days to process.

11. Service Callouts and Repairs

  • Diagnostic fees may apply to all callouts.
  • Repair timelines are estimates only.
  • Replacement parts may need to be ordered from suppliers.
  • No guarantee is provided on repairs to severely damaged equipment.
  • Customers remain liable for callout fees even if repairs are declined after inspection.

12. Online Store Usage

Users agree not to:

  • Use the website unlawfully
  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Upload harmful software or viruses
  • Misrepresent personal information
  • Interfere with website functionality

AirCon Specialist reserves the right to suspend access for misuse.

AirCon Specialist may collect and process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Information collected may include:

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the relevant product or service.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
